By registering for services of the ESF Sainte Foy en Tarentaise you will be deemed to have unconditionally accepted these general terms.
All the instructors of the ESF Sainte Foy hold a valid licence to teach skiing and similar forms of alpine recreation. All the instructors are insured for third party liability with a reliably solvent insurance company.
The ESF has taken out a professional civil liability insurance policy that covers the instructors in the exercise of their duties for damage to a third party and also the skiers during the time which they are under the authority of the ESF and the instructor.
The purchase of a service form the ESF does not include insurance. It is the responsibility of each client and/or student to take out any insurance they believe to be necessary.
The client and/or the student alone is responsible for his skiing equipment. The instructors cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by such equipment, or in the case of theft of, or wear and tear to, such equipment.
The client will request the services he or she requires by completing the relevant form, and sending it to the ESF Sainte Foy.
For lessons to be properly conducted in a group, the skiers should have the same level. In view of the material impossibility for the instructors of the ESF Sainte Foy en Tarentaise to verify the level of each pupil prior to registration, the pupil shall be responsible for his choice of technical level according to the scale drawn up by the ESF Sainte Foy en Tarentaise.
Accordingly, the ESF Sainte Foy en Tarentaise reserves the right to reintegrate a skier into a group that is better adapted to his level if such level does not correspond to his declaration, and subject to the capacities of the other groups. The skier shall not be able to claim any reimbursement or other compensation as a result thereof due to his (or her) declaration.
Group lessons require a minimum of 2 skiers after the monday to take place. Otherwise they are stopped the Tuesday included.
